Sölden

Sölden is, as far as area is concerned, the largest community in Austria, covering 466,78 km² in area and with a population of 3199 (as of 1.1.2016), located in the southern part of the Ötztal valley in the district of Imst, Tyrol.

Sölden is at a height of 1368 m above sea level.

There are 39 cable railways available in the Sölden ski and hiking area (from 1377 to 3250 m).

The highest point that can be reached by lift is at a height of  3,250 m.

Gaislachkogl cable railway

In the midst of this impressive mountain world lies your Hotel Regina****Superior, only 150 metres away from the valley station of the Gaislachkogl cable railway.

At the peak of the Gaislachkogl, the ICE Q restaurant with its panoramic views, famous as the location for a James Bond film, is waiting for you.

Experience a very special cable railway journey and climb a three thousand  in  only 12 minutes.

Giggijoch cable railway

The Giggijoch cable railway is the middle of Sölden, and therefore right next to our apartment houses.

Since the winter 2016/17 season, the new railway has been in use.

In stylish, semi-glazed gondolas, you can reach the Giggijoch station in a mere eight minutes.
